Papers of B. F. D. Runk [manuscript], 1929-1994.

The collection contains his article "A brief history of the early years of the Miller Manual Labor School." The collection also contains diplomas and certificates of Dean Runk chiefly from his many years at the University of Virginia, but including a number from his service with the United States Coast Guard. The collection also contains the memorial resolution for Runk composed by Raymond C. Bice and presented to the University faculy, and copies of a the program from his memorial service, 1994. The collection also contains family photographs including hog butchering and other farm operations at "Hollymead," Albemarle County, Va.; information and maps on "Hollymead" and "The Union"; greeting cards from Runk and his sister Betty Runk Kayan; some legal and financial papers; U. S. Coast Guard Reserve personnel files; and newsclippings.
